We build the semantic layer
that global trade runs on.

There are two ways to work with us: grab the tools and run with them yourself, or bring us in to build the layer around your own data.

Tools

Open-source and licensed engines for classification, ingest, and query — take what you need and go.

Browse the tools →

Services

Ontology development and advisory work, scoped around whatever you're actually dealing with.

How we engage →

This is the actual engine, drawn as itself — the swirl is the model, the little dot is one classification finding its way through it.

Tools

Each one ships as a standalone tool, built on the same engine underneath. HS tools has been around the longest — the rest are catching up, built the same way.

HS tools

Modelling · validation

Deterministic HS/HSN classification, with the reasoning shown — every code traces straight back to the tariff text, not a confidence score you're left to just trust.

Open source

Rx tools

Ingest · alignment

Ingests pharmacopoeial and regulatory data and lines it up against a shared therapeutic ontology. Licensed per deployment.

Licensed

Route tools

Query · publishing

Queries preferential trade agreements and rules of origin, then hands back the duty-optimal route — hosted, so there's nothing for you to install.

Hosted

Services

A practice, not a catalogue — every engagement gets scoped around what you're actually working with, not a generic package.

Ontology development

We sit down with your product, drug, or trade domain and model it as a formal ontology — something your systems can query and your team can actually audit.

6–12 weeks

Knowledge graph builds

We take whatever you've already got — catalogues, tariff schedules, regulatory filings — and turn it into a queryable graph, wired into the systems you already run.

Project

Advisory and training

Ongoing guidance for teams building this kind of infrastructure themselves, plus hands-on training so your engineers aren't stuck waiting on us.

About

Ontinai is a small, opinionated semantic technology practice — we'd rather build a real ontology than bolt a chatbot onto one. We build the tools first, for ourselves and in the open, then bring the same engine into engagements where a team needs the layer built around their own data — trade, pharma, and whatever regulated work comes after that.

Deterministic, not probabilistic
Airgapped by design
API optional, never required

Tell us what you're working with — a demo, a question, or an engagement you're scoping — and we'll get back to you.

The tools are open. The reasoning is visible. That's really the whole pitch.
